Tuna Tofu Patties
If you've ever gone to any family potluck in Hawaii, you know that local people go all out when it comes to food. We pull out all the stops to ensure everything tastes delicious and that no one leaves hungry. It's also the perfect chance to try out a new recipe and bring a dish that no one has ever made before. That's how I got this recipe for tuna tofu patties.
At one of our family potlucks, my husband's aunt didn't tell anyone what she was specifically bringing but she did say she was going to try out a new recipe. I gotta tell you, when she busted these patties out on the table, I had a new respect for her. I thought it was pretty ballsy to bring any dish with canned tuna in it to a family potluck, let alone a dish containing tuna AND tofu. Uncles, aunties and cousins turn into food critics at our potlucks, even if the comments are all in fun.
But I was surprised when everyone tried the patties and it got good reviews all around. I know I liked them, especially after drizzling a little ponzu sauce over the top.
